Production Process of Plastic Steel Sheet Piles

Production Process of Plastic-Wood Composite Sheet Piles
1. Raw Material Preparation: Plastic (such as polyethylene or polypropylene) is blended with wood flour in a specific ratio, incorporating additives like stabilizers and UV inhibitors to enhance material durability and functionality.
2. Mixing and Plasticization: The raw materials are thoroughly mixed using a high-speed mixer before being fed into an extruder. Under high temperature and pressure, they are melted and plasticized into a uniform melt.
3. Extrusion Molding: The melt is forced through a die to form the pile’s predetermined cross-sectional shape. This process typically occurs at elevated temperatures to ensure adequate flow and shaping.
4. Cooling and Setting: The extruded semi-finished product undergoes rapid cooling via water tanks or air-cooling systems to maintain dimensional stability and surface finish.
5. Post-Processing: Includes cutting to standard lengths, surface treatment (e.g., grinding or coating), and quality inspection (e.g., dimensional accuracy, mechanical property testing).
