In the construction materials market, the choice between plastic-steel sheet piles and steel sheet piles has always been a hot topic of discussion. In terms of initial investment, the unit price of composite sheet piles is approximately 1.2 times that of steel sheet piles. However, when considering the total life-cycle cost, the advantages of composite sheet piles are significant: steel sheet piles require an annual maintenance cost of 5% for corrosion protection, whereas composite sheet piles require virtually no maintenance, resulting in total cost savings of nearly double over a 30-year service life.

In an increasing number of ecologically sensitive projects, composite sheet piles have become the designated material of choice.
