Compared to traditional materials: Significant advantages throughout the entire life cycle

Compared to traditional steel sheet piles and concrete piles, plastic steel sheet piles demonstrate distinct advantages in performance, cost, and environmental friendliness. In terms of performance, steel sheet piles boast high strength but suffer from poor corrosion resistance, requiring regular anti-corrosion treatment. They are also heavy and challenging to install. Concrete piles offer good stability but have long construction cycles, are non-recyclable, and exhibit poor crack resistance and susceptibility to leakage. Plastic steel sheet piles, however, combine multiple characteristics—lightweight, high strength, corrosion resistance, and impermeability—with a service life far exceeding that of traditional materials. Regarding cost, while the initial purchase price of plastic steel sheet piles is slightly higher than steel sheet piles, they eliminate the need for ongoing anti-corrosion maintenance. Their lower transportation and construction costs result in a 20%-30% reduction in long-term comprehensive expenses. Concrete piles, with their high raw material and construction costs, are non-recyclable, making their overall cost-effectiveness significantly inferior to plastic steel sheet piles. Regarding environmental impact, steel sheet piles generate substantial carbon emissions during production and use, and are difficult to recycle after disposal. Concrete piles are non-biodegradable and cause environmental pollution. In contrast, plastic-steel sheet piles utilize eco-friendly polymer materials, feature low carbon emissions during production, and are recyclable after end-of-life, aligning with circular economy principles.
